Configuring Platform Settings

Platform Settings

Platform settings control the behavior, appearance, and configuration of your entire Boottify instance. Only Owners and Admins can access these settings.

Accessing Settings

Navigate to Admin → Settings from the sidebar. Settings are organized into tabs:

System Tab

  • Platform Name — The name displayed across the platform.
  • Platform URL — The base URL for your instance.
  • Maintenance Mode — Toggle to show a maintenance page to all users.
  • Default Language — Set the default locale.

Branding Tab

  • Logo — Upload your platform logo (displayed in sidebar and login pages).
  • Favicon — Browser tab icon.
  • Brand Colors — Customize the primary accent color.
  • Footer Text — Custom footer content for the landing page.

Email Tab

  • SMTP Configuration — Server, port, username, and password for outgoing email.
  • From Address — The sender email address for platform emails.
  • Test Email — Send a test email to verify SMTP configuration.

Security Tab

  • Password Policy — Minimum length and complexity requirements.
  • Session Timeout — Idle timeout duration.
  • Allowed Domains — Restrict sign-ups to specific email domains.

Analytics Tab

  • Google Analytics — Enter your GA tracking ID.
  • Custom Scripts — Add tracking or analytics scripts to all pages.

Legals Tab

  • Terms of Service — Edit the terms of service page content.
  • Privacy Policy — Edit the privacy policy page content.
  • Cookie Policy — Configure cookie consent messaging.
