Plans and Upgrades

Each application on Boottify runs on a specific plan that determines its resources and available features. You can upgrade or change plans at any time.

Understanding Plans

Plans define:

  • Resource Limits — CPU cores, memory (RAM), and storage allocation.
  • User Limits — Maximum number of users or team members.
  • Features — Which platform features are available.
  • Pricing — Monthly or yearly subscription cost.

Viewing Your Current Plan

  1. Open your application from the Apps page.
  2. Click the Upgrade tab.
  3. Your current plan is highlighted with its resource allocation and pricing.

Upgrading Your Plan

  1. On the Upgrade tab, browse available plans.
  2. Compare features, resources, and pricing side by side.
  3. Click Upgrade to [Plan Name].
  4. Confirm the upgrade in the checkout dialog.
  5. Your application's resources will be updated immediately.

Billing Proration

When you upgrade mid-billing-cycle:

  • You're only charged the prorated difference for the remaining days.
  • The new plan pricing takes effect on your next billing date.
  • Downgrades may be credited or adjusted on the next invoice.

Plan Limits and Enforcement

If your application exceeds plan limits:

  • CPU — Requests are throttled, but the app continues running.
  • Memory — The container may be restarted if it exceeds the memory limit.
  • Storage — Write operations may fail if disk quota is reached.
  • Consider upgrading if you consistently hit limits.
