Boottify supports OAuth sign-in with two providers. Use your existing account to sign in without creating a separate password.
Google OAuth
Sign in with your Google account. Works with personal Gmail and Google Workspace accounts.
GitHub OAuth
Sign in with your GitHub account. Convenient for developers who already use GitHub for their repositories.
HOW IT WORKS
OAuth sign-in is available on the sign-in and sign-up pages. Click the provider button to authenticate with your existing account.
Click the provider button
Choose "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with GitHub" on the login page.
Authorize Boottify
Grant Boottify access to your basic profile information (name and email).
Account linked
Your OAuth account is linked to your Boottify account. Future sign-ins are one-click.
SECURITY NOTES
OAuth sign-in can be combined with two-factor authentication for additional security.
2FA Compatible
Even with OAuth sign-in, you can enable TOTP-based two-factor authentication for extra security.
Email Matching
If you sign up with email/password first, you can later link your Google or GitHub account using the same email.
Minimal Permissions
Boottify only requests access to your basic profile and email address. No additional scopes are required.
